Who doesn’t love avocado? So many food groups can mixed with it to make it sweet, sour, savory, or just fabulously delicious! If you want a change from guacamole, this recipe is for you!
Was inspired while at Tacodeli today after seeing their avocado yogurt salad dressing.
I guessed the ingredients and decided to make a dip instead of a dressing, since Sous Chef Rhys is a huge fan of dips lately! By the way, if you live in Texas and have yet to try Tacodeli, its must. My husband and I call it the In n Out Burger of tacos!!!!!
Recipe:
Makes approximately 3 cups
3/4 cup plain nonfat yogurt
2 avocados, peeled and mashed (recommend using food processor)
Juice of 2 limes
Place all ingredients in a medium mixing bowl. Mix to combine and serve in a small bowl. Store in refrigerator in a closed container.
Paired it with my Black Bean Quinoa Burgers. We also dipped carrots and argula in it too!
